Downloading Cabal. Download speed moving up/down

Any ideas why my dl speed is so fked up?
im not running anything else except msn/skype .
Earlier on it was going on 50+ kbps
now its like,10kbps .
Help & suggestions needed ty.

Basically , your outta memory .
This happened when i had 3 GB left of memory , after clearing to 15 GB .
It was onli 3 mins to download .

Check your memory pls ,
